Simone Sharp RVN, MBVNA

Simone worked in the veterinary profession for ten years before qualifying as a veterinary nurse in 2005. Since then she has been our main theatre nurse; responsible for the well being of our in patients whether in for an operation or longer term for illness and injury, something she excels at. She loves assisting the vets in operations when they need an extra pair of hands!

Her passion in life, outside work is Pumpkin, her eleven year old Highland Dunn pony and of course her two cats and not forgetting her partner who puts up with it all.

Michelle Pavey VN, D32,33, MBVNA, Clinical and Personnel Manager.

Michelle started Veterinary Nursing straight from school in 1983 and qualified as a veterinary nurse in 1986. She has worked in Dorset practices all her career and moved to Moorcroft in 2005. She is heavily involved in our practice, primarily with the patients but she also has primary responsibility for staff care and management. Professionally her particular love is feline care, especially care of diabetic cats. As well as this Michelle is qualified as an assessor to training student nurses.

Home is on Portland with her husband and family of cats. In her spare time she is an archer, shooting and winning in competitions all over the country.

Angie Pearce, Administration and Accounts Manager.

Angie has been a receptionist with Moorcroft since 2004. She was originally one of our main receptionists at our Portland branch and now has taken on the role of accounts manager, a vital if challenging role which keeps her at Weymouth on a daily basis. She still works at Portland on a Monday evening however to keep that connection going and loves dealing with clients and patients alike.

In her own time she enjoys a busy family life based on the island with her husband, daughter and their 3 cats, one of which she took on at 4 weeks of age when it was handed into the practice as a stray!
